Of Present Wrapping and Chocolate Chip Cookies

Of Present Wrapping and Chocolate Chip Cookies

Happy 14th Day of Blogmas!

It was freezing and snowy and windy today so the layers and the fuzzy socks came out haha My sister and I started to wrap the Christmas presents (I mean, it's fast approaching and I'll end up wrapping them all anyway). I still don't have a Christmas list so maybe I need to sort that out tomorrow.

After that I thought that I should do something else that was cheerful and joy-bringing so obviously I needed to bake something. Since I love chocolate chip cookies so much and our house seems to be void of them, I decided to make them for the first time in forever.

Let's begin!

No make up was put on today.

The 3/4 cup was dirty so I got creative (i.e. I was too lazy to find, wash, and dry it.

Oh yeah, look at that one handed egg cracking skill. And don't even get me started on those half finished Christmas nails. I really need to finish them... maybe tomorrow.

Totally forgot to take a picture of the whole batch of cookie dough or the cookie dough on the cookie sheets. But this is my FAVOURITE part of making cookies. I could eat cookie dough forever and I will without a doubt run the obscure risk of salmonella poisoning to continue to do so.

Andddd they came out flat? Geez, it seems it seems that they come out this way more often than not with me lately. I'll definitely fix it for next time!

They are thin but still delicious. My mum said she actually prefers them like this (why? I will never know). I'm sure they will disappear within a few days regardless.

After I made the cookies, I began the truffle making process (using the recipe from my last post). So I will finish that tomorrow and maybe take a few of them to work (if they come out right haha). Please tell me that I'm not the only one whose chocolate chip cookies have come out flat!

love always,
xo
